Columbia World Projects is pleased to announce that the application for the Obama Foundation Scholars Program at Columbia University is now open.
Rising leaders from around the world who have demonstrated a commitment to finding solutions to challenges in their communities, countries, or regions are invited to apply to participate in an immersive, fully-funded, residential program in New York City. Over the course of an academic year, Scholars have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and skills and to build new capacities and networks that accelerate their impact in their home countries.

The application will remain open until December 12 at 5 p.m. ET.
Since 2018, the Obama Foundation Scholars Program at Columbia University has welcomed 70 rising leaders from 54 countries who are addressing a range of challenges, including strengthening governance, increasing access to high-quality healthcare, promoting environmental sustainability, advancing women’s rights and ending gender-based violence.
